Description

The Academia Británica English Courses for Children are designed to develop children’s communication skills in English in a fun, natural way. From the first class in September to the last class in June, their classes will be conducted directly in English using games, songs, fun activities and multimedia resources. The classes are always taught by teachers who are highly qualified in teaching children, with the coordination of an Academic Manager specialized in teaching languages to children.

Whenever they wish, parents can request a tutorial with the Academic Manager, in addition to receiving termly reports detailing the student’s progress.

The children will learn English in a natural, fun way

The learning is based on the Cambridge levels and the classes are taught by our most expert teachers

Every year, we arrange a meeting with the parents of students who are ready for the Cambridge Young Learners Exams, and for those children who are interested, we organize practice exams or “mocks” and support classes. The sittings for these exams are usually in spring each year and we hold a small event for the children and their families in autumn to award the certificates.

The children’s courses are planned according to Cambridge recommendations, by which levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are sub-divided into smaller units. In total, there are 8 levels, from Preparatory 1 for the youngest children (3 years old), up to Elementary 3, which is aimed at children around 11 years old. From Juniors 2 level onwards, students can prepare for the Cambridge Young Learners exams.

In addition to the classes, we also organize extra activities for children throughout the course, including Halloween parties, workshops, Christmas stories, letters for Santa Claus, fancy dress parties, carnival games and storytelling, to name but a few.
